NeuroOncological tumors represents a diverse group of benign and malignant tumors arising from the central or peripheral nervous system, which recognizes no geographical, racial, gender, social or age boundaries. Significant progress has been achieved in our understanding and managment of these tumors, however, patients with malignant brain, spinal and peripheral nerve tumors still have a guarded prognosis. As a global issue, the coordinated activity of national and international societies such as ISNO, SNO (Society of NeuroOncology) and others will be pivotal in optimizing our activities towards the ultimate goal of helping our patients.
